1995

This was the year when studies were undertaken on the concept of integrated phytotherapy aiming at personal well being, through which products implementing the association between vegetable active principles and nutritional substances such as vitamins and minerals were formulated and realized. 

1996

It marked the start of the gradual introduction onto the market of products specially targeted to treat given states of organic stress, maintain body wellness as well as prevent and control body weight,  these issues still making up the framework of Gricar’s product list.   

1997

Launch of ARTICOLENE, a joints treating product, whose main ingredient is shark’s cartilage.

1998

Launch of PREVENGOLA, PREVENVOCE and ALITOSTOP, three products for treating sore throat, hoarseness and halitosis.

1999

Introduction of the BIOPURIFICA brand, which still meets with success in the market.

2000

Foundation of the Phytotherapeutic and Nutritional Research centre, a division of the company that is specially devoted to research and innovation as regards raw materials, active principles and dietary products for body wellness that also manages formulations, notifications to the Ministry and customer service.

2001

Review and improvement of the prevention and anti-bacterial propolis line, much appreciated for its galangin ratios as well as its goodness and tastiness, immediately followed by the specific line for children, which opened the way to studies over dietary supplements for the youngest.

2002

Introduction in the market of the SPECIAL FREE brand, whose label lists the presence of lactose, gluten or sugars as a guarantee for consumers suffering from particular intolerances. Concomitantly, Gricar undertook to produce, whenever possible, formulations without preserving agents, colouring matter, artificial flavouring and allergens. These are the foundation stones for the birth of the KUR line, including products aimed at promoting healthy body organs.

2003

The MAEF (High-Efficiency Maceration) system for propolis extraction was set up.

2004

Introduction of PSORACTIVE, a line of products to treat psoriasis and skin desquamation.
